i thought the title of this post was really clever, at the same time i realized i didn't know what saga meant. interestingly, the third definition fit as 'a long detailed account', barely missing the description of '1: a prose narrative recorded in Iceland in the 12th and 13th centuries of historic or legendary figures and events of the heroic age of Norway and Iceland' and '2 : a modern heroic narrative resembling the Icelandic saga.' i wish i was in Iceland right now. i also wish these stories were more herioc, and less pathetic. nat and cathy have had a play-by-play throughout my college days of this narrative of love. so by definition, this has been a saga in that respect. i'm not going to type out the whole saga on the blog. (boring) you just get a taste.
today i let sister jeffs and lili convince me to 'take a risk'. with all my careful observation, he couldn't possibly be dating someone. but he is.
so i lit some candles and got out a jar of peanut butter like a good, strong girl would and faced the fact that lili's last warning was right. she said "let's face it though, every time i take a risk, i end up looking like an idiot." tomorrow's gonna be awkward. bring it on.
